People for Research is now an MRS Recruiter accredited company

We are very pleased to announce that People for Research has achieved MRS Recruiter Accreditation status. We are now fully accredited within the Market Research Society’s new scheme, developed in partnership with the Association for Qualitative Research (AQR).

The overall aim of the scheme is to improve the quality of qualitative recruitment in the UK by ensuring that accredited recruiters fully understand the principles, techniques and legal/ethical requirements of research.

This accreditation has added another layer of quality assurance to the existing internal training and development programmes we conduct, all which go towards showcasing our skilled participant recruitment team to our clients.

How to get accredited

The Recruiter Accreditation Scheme programme combines online training and assessment with self-directed work-based learning, which can be completed online under the guidance of the MRS. The organisation recommends approximately 40 hours of training before taking the assessment.

You can find out more about the scheme here. You can also find a list of all the accredited researchers here.

Awards and other certifications

Besides being accredited by the MRS, we are also company partners with the Market Research Society (and work according to their Code of Conduct), as well as Fair Data partners.

In terms of awards, we won the MRS Operations Award in 2019 for Best Support Services. PFR applied to the awards based on a 2018 project with research and design consultancy cxpartners and the not-for-profit organisation FRANK, a service that aims to give young people the skills and confidence to reject drugs by providing honest information and unbiased advice.

FRANK and cxpartners were looking to explore regional differences in how young people aged 16 to 25 years old feel about drugs and their personal experiences. People for Research managed all the participant recruitment for this project, targeting and finding young people who had had experiences with drugs in the past, and including participants with accessibility requirements to comply with the Government Digital Services’ guidelines. You can read more about this project here.

Next on the list are our certifications, which reflect one of our top priorities: keeping both our community's and client's data secure. To ensure this, we are Cyber Essentials Plus certified, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as data controllers and fully compliant with GDPR, thanks to training provided by IT Governance.
